We comply with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. Below is further information on your rights

How to use the shop To shop simply click on one of the departments below or on the left and select the model group required like range cooker or single oven then click on the correct model number of your Smeg appliance. To add the parts to your basket click on the add to cart button. Please note parts must be ordered against the correct model number, a restocking fee will be applied to returns of incorrectly ordered parts. If you register as a "Loyalty Customer" you will recieve an extra 5% discount on future orders. After adding a part to your basket you can then check out by pressing the proceed to check out button or the back to shopping button. Once you are ready to check out you will be asked to register if you are a new customer or click on the returning customer link if you have registered before. We accept payment by credit/debit cards, and Paypal. please note your statement will show Servevast LTD. If you are unable to proceed to the check out please check your internet security settings as they may be blocking this action. Our online ordering system uses 128 bit ssl encryption the strongest commercially available (please click on the Geotrust logo below for more information). We aim to ship orders within 2 working days this is subject to stock availability and payment, an email will be sent to confirm your order and if a part is out of stock we will advise on an estimated delivery date from Italy. As this shop is primarily a trade shop all prices will be displayed excluding VAT and carriage charges will be indicated separately where applicable please read our terms and conditions for more information. For security reasons and to prevent online fraud orders over the value of £25 will be shipped by secure delivery. Please note due to safety reasons we are unable to supply technical advice on fitting of spare parts, any customer purchasing parts is assumed to be using a qualified engineer or possess the necessary technical skills and do so at their own risk. When fitting gas related spares an engineer must be Corgi registered. If your model or part is not listed please email update@smeg-service.co.uk and we will update the shop, please do not call the office number for placing new orders or requests for updates of the shop. The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 came into force on the 31st October 2000 and gives rights to individual consumers in the area of home shopping. They are intended to give consumers confidence in purchasing goods and services where there is no face to face contact with the seller. The regulations do not apply to business to business (trade) contracts.

We do not ship glass or liquids internationally .

 

Company Information

1. Our trading name is Servevast Limited and our Head Office is situated at 3 Chase House, Park Plaza, Cannock, Staffordshire, WS12 2DD servevastdirect.co.uk 01543-461352

2. We sell spare parts, and offer a repair service for the repair of domestic appliances such as washing machines, refrigerators, dishwashers, cookers, hobs and range cookers.

3. All prices will be displayed excluding VAT and carriage charges will be indicated separately where applicable.

4. Payment for spare parts will be taken once the goods are ordered.

5. We will endeavour to deliver spare parts within 2/3 working days of the order being placed (subject to stock availability with us and our suppliers).

 

Cancellation Rights/Warranty

1. You have the right to cancel your order within 7 days after the date of delivery. You must notify us by phone or email (sales@servevastdirect.co.uk)your intention to cancel within this time. After notification we will issue you a returns notification number that you must quote on the paperwork when returning the goods.

2.Please note: that if a part is ordered incorrectly or you change your mind after the item has been despatched and it is over the 7 day period (see above) thhen we reserve the right to refuse the return of goods. This does not affect your statutory rights.

3. If a spare part is faulty within 12-months of purchase and providing the parts have been fitted by one of our Smeg qualified engineers (The Company will request proof of this), the Company will provide a replacement (Some parts are exempt from this warranty). Parts fitted by non Smeg approved engineers will have a 6 month warranty. Door seals/gaskets and light bulbs will be covered for a period of 30 days. Servevast/Smeg cannot be held responsible for any damage or risk caused by any repair carried out by unauthorized and untrained people. Servevast/Smeg always recommend that a Smeg trained engineer should fit the parts. Smeg engineers can be found via the link on the home page of the shop or by calling Smeg service call centre.Customers repairing Smeg appliances using parts purchased from our shop are fully responsible should a fault arise due to faulty fixing.

4. We will refund your money within 30 days The cost for returning the goods must be met by the consumer unless the goods are faulty, incorrect or because of unsuitable substitution by ourselves. In this case we will meet the cost of return.

5. If you have notified us of a problem with the goods, we will (at the consumers option) either make good any shortage or non-delivery; replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective upon delivery; or refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question. Please note that Damages/Problems with the goods need to be reported within 7 days of the goods being recieved by the customer. The Company will not be liable for losses that were not foreseeable to both parties when the contract was made, for losses that were not caused by any breach on the part of the supplier or for business losses and/or losses to non consumers. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, nor is it intended to exclude our liability to you for fraudulent misrepresentation or for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

6. Any complaints should be sent for the attention of the Customer Services Team at the address in note 1 in the Company Information section above.

7. Consumers whose payment card is used dishonestly or fraudulently for any type of home shopping can now cancel the payment and the card issuer must refund all the money to the consumers account.


To return goods you must first contact us by E-mail (Preferred) to arrange to have the goods Returned. You will need to provide the following information: -

1. The order number
2. Part Number(s) to be Returned and Quantity.
3. Reason why the parts are being Returned.

Returns Policy - Return Request

When we receive such a request, the goods to be Returned MUST meet the following Criteria: -

1. The Request for return must be made within 7 days of the goods being received by yourselves, any requests for return made past the 7 day notification date will be not be handled. We will accept back goods that are:

(1a) Incorrectly Ordered
(1b) Surplus to Requirement

2. The goods must be within there original packaging and unused. Goods that have been used will be refused and returned to the sender. Please note that all goods will have visible fitting marks on them if they are fitted.

3. Original Shipping costs are only refunded if the goods in question are being returned due to an error made by ourselves.

4. Goods ordered incorrectly or no longer required by the consumer that is reported over the 7 days can be charged a re-stocking fee up to a value of 25% at our own discretion. The re-stocking fee will be applied to the part in question only. The part must be in the original packaging, unused and in a re-sellable conditon. The part would have to be returned back to ourselves by the consumer at no cost to us. Please e-mail for more details.

Returns Policy - Agreement and Return of Goods

If a Return Request is successful, you will then be then given an address for the goods to be Returned to, as well as an explantion on how the goods will be credited. Goods can only by refunded by the original method of payment. Goods that are Returned with returns authorisation MUST meet the following Criteria: -

1. Goods must be sent within 28 days of the Returns authorisation. Any goods that are not returned within this time period will be refused and returned to the customer.
2. Goods must be in original packaging and Unused.
3. Goods must be sent to the EXACT address given at the time of Return authorisation. Goods sent to any other address will be refused and returned to the sender.

Returns Policy - Refunds  

When we receive the goods back and they match all the above Criteria we are able to issue a refund. Due to the administrative process this can take 7-10 working days from when we receive the goods. Refunds are only issued in the way the original payment was taken.

1 - Refunds will be issued within 7-10 working days of receiving the goods.
2 - If you paid by Card then your refund will be issued back on to the original card you used.
3 - If you paid by PayPal then you will be refunded via Paypal.
