According to Men's Health Magazine it is the prime suspect because of its ample dimensions that make you want to load it up with large quantities of food. For a special on post-Christmas diets for men, the magazine shot some photos that reflect the popular TV crime series CSI, and depict the SMEG fridge as number one on the wanted list. A Striking Visual Impact

Smeg's exciting new range of glass Splashbacks are eye catching, hygienic and easy to fit. Available in 8 stunning colours and finishes, they have been chosen specifically to complement the Smeg range of 50's Retro Style coloured appliances, as well as the black, cream and stainless steel products.

For Maximum Hygiene

The Splashbacks are an immensely practical addition to any kitchen as they are easy to clean, with no grout lines to collect dirt and grease, so they cannot harbour germs or bacteria. They are made from opaque coloured glass which will not allow any show-through from the surface behind.

An Economical Solution

They are an extremely cost effective alternative to tiles and result in a smooth and seamless finish. All products have been rigorously tested and perform well under heat. They comply with all the relevant British Safety Standards, (BS6206 and PREN 12600) and are heat resistant to 120ºC of direct heat and 420ºC of indirect heat.

Safe And Easy To Install

To make installation of our Splashbacks as simple and problem-free as possible, they all come with a self-adhesive safety backing which is guaranteed not to degrade. This means that it is a simple procedure to peel off the backing, position the Splashback on the wall and then fix with a recommended adhesive. It is also possible to choose a mix of coloured panels as they can be fused together to create virtually invisible joints.

Standard Sizes Or Cut To Fit

Smeg Splashbacks are available in a selection of heights and widths to enhance the diverse range of appliances. There are matching Upstands which are 140mm high and come in packs of 2 x 1 metre lengths, to be fitted to the wall behind the worktop. These can also be cut to size on site by the installer to ensure a perfect fit.
